Betty's Pick - Tuna and cherry tomato pasta..extra tuna pls mama..

As Salam..

Kalau slalu pasta mesti bolognaise..xpun carbonara..olio..tukarla..yg kering2 sikit..tp sbb dah namanya makanan omputih..depa mana leh tinggal tomato..kan..sedap jugak..buat pon senang...

tapi..mmg bersilatla nak mkn sbb di kerumun dek anak2 bulus..hoi...ni tuna mama la,,bukan tuna wetfood korg!! sila dok jejauh sikit yea...shoo..shooo...ngee..

Menarik kan..esp bila tgk tuna flakes yg tebal2 tu..aku x suka sgt tuna..tp bila mkn once in a while ok la..tukar selera...

Tuna and cherry tomato pasta.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 350g dried spaghetti pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 400g can Italian whole cherry tomatoes
  • 2 x 185g cans tuna with chilli in oil, drained, flaked
  • 1 cup small fresh basil leaves

Method

  1. Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water following packet directions until tender. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add capsicum and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until capsicum has softened. Add tomatoes. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until tomatoes have just collapsed.
  3. Add pasta, tuna and basil. Cook, tossing, for 2 minutes or until heated through. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
