Hari ni..nak bagi synopsis sikit...a book by Clare Dowling.. Going It Alone.. Basically buku ni pasal seorg wanita, trying to conceive thingy...OMG..this book is soooo me!! Haishhh...
Synopsis:
Newlyweds Millie and Andrew have been so busy enjoying themselves that making babies hasn't entered their heads. But as friends turn forty one by one, Millie gets a rude awakening. Suddenly she wants a baby, and she wants one now. Cue her obsession with fertility charts, pregnancy test and black scratchy negligees. But then Andrew, flagging under her gruelling regime, drops his bombshell: he's very sorry, but he's just not ready to be a father yet. Millie is left with no choice but to take matters in her own hands. Determined to do it alone, she sets off on a package holiday to a fertility clinic in Spain. But surely it takes two to tango...and suddenly sumptuous Simon arrives on the scene..Jeng..jeng...jeng... kihihihihiih....

"..Andrew said she was getting too stresses out about the whole thing. He often said that nowadays. But then again he could father a child into his nineties, if he could find a woman to oblige, so why should he feel any stress at all? Men had it so easy. In her darker moments, Millie wished that their scrotums would shrivel up and fall off once they hit forty five. That would certainly level the playing field..."
P/S: Love this book, definitely will hunt again for Clare Dowling next time...
