Missy ada Eosinophilic Granuloma katanya....

As Salam..
Hari tu..bawak Missy pi vet..asalnya utk check kaki dia... entah kenapa.. lepas spay dia hari tu..dia ni jalan ala2 limping plak..risau mak dibuatnya nyah!!
Tiba2 kakinya baik..bibir bawah dia plak swollen..mula2 x perasan..ingat budak ni semula jadi berbibir pink dan mungil mcm Angelina Jolie..x sedap hati..Big Boss check mulut dia..eh..eh..apsal mcm bengkak plak..hhmmm..malam tu jugak pas bukak puasa..kami rush ke vet...

Dah alang2 ke vet..sauk la skali si Amada baby ni utk di vaccinate..tu masing 2 muka cuak ler tu..Amada mcm biasa..buat muka x puas hati dia tu ler..

Haa..cuba tgk lower lip si Missy..bengkak kan!! Dah mcm menjuih bibir pon ada aku tgk..

Setelah di check..vet amik sikit sampel dan check bawah microskop..hhmmm...mmg eosinophil dia aktif giler..byk plak tu...apa ke jadah eosinophil tu??
Hmm...eosinophil ialah sejenis blood component iaitu white blood cell yg terlibat dlm body defense mechanism.. spesific dalam allergy reaction, boleh release histamin yg sebabkan gatal2..
Vet siap check referense lagi utk double confirm...adoyaiii Missy....

Ni bukan Missy..ni contoh gambar eosinophilic granuloma tu...

Ni pon sama...

Sbb proses nak amik sample tu menyakitkan..yela..benda bengkak ko nak cucuk2 ngan jarum utk sampling mmg hazab kan..so vet pengsan kan dia..sian Missy..

Selesai amik sample..alhamdulillah dipermudahkan semua...

Balik tu..aku buat sedikit reading pasal mende nih..yela..risau la aku kan..kalau cik Missy ni byk pe'el penyakitnya..susah nak di put for adoption..aku ni fosterer dia sajer..Missy oh Missy...adakah kau mmg ditakdirkan duduk sini dgn mama sbg permenant resident?? adakah?? Ntahla...
Aim aku skrg..nak dia sihat aje..kadang2 kecik ati dgn kawan2 yg tegur "Ko kluarkan duit sendiri antar kucing yg bukan ko punye ke vet..beratus2 plak tu..membazir sungguh!" Boleh dia ckp rupa ini kat aku..mcm nak aku celet2 jer dahi dia..geram!!
Aku punye duit..aku punya suka la!! Big Boss pun x bising..siap bleh chip in sama2 bayar bill ngan aku lagi..Alhamdulillah aku dpt hubby yg sama2 share minat dan pendapat dgn aku...haishhh...

Ok..back to eosinophilic granuloma..kalau aku tulis/cut & paste pepanjang pon bukannya kita2 ni paham sesangat kan..so amik sikit2 jer yg berkenaan dgn Missy..nak lebih lanjut..sila Google sendirik ek..

Eosinophilic granuloma complex is a common and underdiagnosed disease in cats.  It is thought to be due to an allergic reaction, and symptoms range from ulcers, swollen nodules, and raised red lesions on the cat’s face, mouth, neck, belly, limbs, or groin area.  Because of it’s allergic origin, there is no cure, but treatment is aimed at preventing the allergen exposure, and therefore limiting the outbreak of clinical signs.
The lip ulcer (eosinophilic ulcer, indolent ulcer, rodent ulcer) is found usually on the upper lip of cats. Diagnosis is based on clinical appearance and histopathologic examination, which generally reveals hyperplastic ulcerative superficial perivascular dermatitis with eosinophils or neutrophils, mononuclear cells and fibrosis. Blood eosinophilia and tissue eosinophilia are less common than the other diseases in this complex. The primary underlying diseases identified with the indolent lip ulcer are flea allergy, food allergy and atopic dermatitis; when these are controlled, the lip lesion resolves.
Another form associated with the chin and lower lip is referred to as 'pouting' or 'button lip'. The nose, muzzle, ears and the junction of the pads and the haired skin on the foot may also be affected. The foot pads may be ulcerated and swollen and there may be loss of pigment. The skin lesions are usually red, raised, hairless and have a grainy look. There may also be lesions in the mouth. Causes may include hypersensitivity to flea bites, reaction to food and environmental allergens. In the USA and Australia, cats kept in an insect-free environment have improved rapidly.

P/S: Next follow up ialah pd early August nanti..hoping for the best utk Missy..at the moment..she's on antihistamine for 2 weeks + Fish oil + Vetri DMG...payah nak kasi ubat makcik sekor nie..menggelupor lebih!!

  2. For instance, they may select a type of lettuce that has purple
coloring in it as well as green. They don't control every bad bug, but it will help you have better success gardening. Again, using companion planting techniques will help your organic garden flourish.
